The lurching stomp of a beat that carries this song is my favorite part about it. Though, I’ve always been a fan of screamed, un-pretty vocals.

Just a little bit of good-feeling to get you through your day.

 

“Relief” - Cold War Kids

I’m sorry to say this was one of the two or three songs on the Loyalty To Loyalty album I found any good. But I’m happy to say the quality more than makes up for the quantity. Sick synth and a nice, shuffley drum.

“It Ain’t Gonna Save Me” - Jay Reatard

Screaming stoked-ly about how much life sucks makes life feel like it doesn’t suck so hard. Jay knew this. I’m really sad he’s not around anymore; he had a unique sound and I feel like he could’ve done great things as punk evolved.
